Trust in the Lord!! What does it even mean to trust in the Lord? This means to rely absolutely on Him.
There are so many scriptures in the bible that points out to trusting the Lord. Our God is a sovereign God, whatever He said in His word He has done it, whatever promises he has made concerning you, He has fulfilled!!
When we give our lives to Christ something happens and what happens takes place in 2 Corinthians 5:17. ‘’ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old thing are passed away, Behold all things become new”. He is which is a present tense, this means there is a continual renewal of our nature in Christ Jesus.
When we become born again, we enter the clan (family) of God, thereby stepping into God’s promises. Those promises have already started manifesting, we entered a realm of answered prayers. The passcode for those promises is ‘Thanksgiving’.
When you say you trust God you come into an agreement with God to confirm His word.
In Jeremiah 17:7 ‘’ But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” He/ She does not fear when heat comes because he/she has a confident assurance in God. God stands with he who trust in Him.
‘’Fear is a reaction but being courageous is a decision’’- copied. The bible says God has not given us the spirit of bondage again to fear but he has given us the spirit of sonship whereby we cry Abba Father. You have been adopted by Christ. A child of the King!! God has made you bold, He has made you courageous, most importantly He has given you all things.
Take that bold step, take a step of faith TODAY by trusting in God and watch as He blows your mind!! (He is known for that).
